Volunteering with GPRCSA
Offering GPRC Students’ an opportunity to volunteer will positively affect the college and general community. The goal is to provide students with related experience, personal growth, and community networking. By facilitating links between students and volunteer recipients we hope to foster the importance of volunteerism that would have a long term effect on the individuals involved. This will create a continued interest/involvement in the program.
Volunteering is a big part of college life and GPRCSA relies on volunteers each year to provide all of the events and services that we put on.
Volunteer Incentive Points Program
All of the hard work and dedication from our volunteers is what makes the SA the success it is.
We recognize our volunteers with special prizes when they reach certain hours of service.
Please stop by the Students’ Association to fill out the incentive order sheet when you have completed your hours. Or feel free to print off the forms from online and bring them in with you.
If you volunteer with a community organization, your community volunteer hours can count towards your incentive points. However, you must match community volunteers hours with college volunteer hours on an hour for hour basis. Documentation must be provided.
10 hours of volunteering - choose one of the following:
- Long distance phone card
- Gift card to Mr. Mikes
- Gift card to Superstore
- Movie coupons to Cineplex
20 hours of volunteering - Choose one of the following:
- Clothing item from the GPRC Students’ Association Corner Store
- Telus Pay n’ Talk phone
- One month bus pass
30 hours of volunteering – Choose one of the following:
- GPRC Bookstore credit
- Apple I pod shuffle

This information will help us find an appropriate volunteer opportunity most suited to your interests. All information is kept confidential and is only used by the GPRCSA to recruit volunteers.
